Damask Ya

Damask is a beautiful, classy print. It can make any room a little more interesting.

But one thing I have noticed is that when using damask, it's often either in black and white or on a wall. Let's make things a little more exciting!

To help out, we've made available a brand new damask listing in the Etsy shop. You'll find plenty of fun colors to add a little pop into your favorite rooms!

Those Baby Blues

Gasp! Just the right amount of baby blue to make a room breath taking. The mixture of prints, from the polka dot baby blue blanket to the floral curtains, and those baby blues make this room design one of my all time favorites.

Just plain pretty. Take a look in the Etsy shop for some items to add a little baby blue in your home design, it'll SO be worth it :)

Winter Whites

I have been drawn to winter whites the last few days. Maybe it's the freshly fallen snow, but these light colors bring a new look to any room.

Whites and greys tend to make everything look a little more fresh and clean.

Meet Turquoise

I have always been fond of the color. But it wasn't until recently when I made a turquoise damask print pair of curtains panels for the Etsy shop that I realized just how amazing it is. As I rolled out the fabric I thought, "Oh, my, gosh. This must go in my home somewhere."

What a gorgeous color to brighten up your home all year around.

These are the curtains that reintroduced me to this amazing color-

You can find these curtain panels and other NEW turquoise items in the Etsy shop

Go BOLD Or Go Home

It's easy to lean towards something traditional as far as decorating and it's even easier to go overboard when trying to go bold, but every once in a while, bold designs are done just right.

If you're feeling a little bold and would like to add some unique pieces to your design, start small and work your way up.

There are some great prints in the Etsy shop to get you started

Not Grinch Green

I was surprised to see one of the most popular color schemes in the Etsy shop over the weekend was green. I was even more surprised to see what everyone was doing with it!

Green is gorgeous and once I stopped thinking of it as a "Christmas color" and took a look at all of the beautiful green inspired home decor designs, it clicked.

So join me as I get my green on and look for ways to add it to my home
